On Friday the 28th of November, ITC professionals and organizations from different sectors were invited to the PUE offices for a presentation of ITIL©. It was the first event in Catalonia supported by ITpreneurs, a leading global company who lent their knowledge and expertise to the event.

In the name of ITpreneurs, the event was attended by Fred Sabbah, Regional Business Manager Southern Europe and North Africa, and Marcel Foederer, expert and Master Trainer of ITpreneurs for ITIL©, Cobit, PRINCE2, ISO20K and Kepner Tregoe.

The audience of the event was represented by SMEs and large corporations from different sectors. With the clear intention to implement improvements in its procedures and work methodologies, attendees showed real interest in ITIL© and its performance.

The different speeches made it clear that ITIL© is a flexible framework, easily adaptable to the dimensions and necessities of each organization and project, whether self-employed professionals, SMEs or large companies.

One of the outstanding presentations of the event was delivered by Marcel Foederer, Master Trainer of ITpreneurs for ITIL©. His speech made clear the importance of IT as a key area in achieving the business plan and goals of an organization, and how ITIL© Best Practices help with the alignment between IT departments and the necessities and objectives of each corporation, generating better quality and efficiency on the deliverance of IT services.

In the same vein, it was stressed that the practices, methods and continual improvement of ITIL© is drawn from business knowledge, as the main point at the moment to define, plan and implement IT services.

The way that ITIL© reduces the loss of time and money, as well as avoiding the inefficient management of projects, generated mainly for the non-definition of previous requisites, was another of the main messages detailed over the event (see presentation video).

Elena Jaén, Training Manager and Business Development Manager of PUE, introduced the topic of the new business line of official training on ITIL© that PUE provides to professionals and organizations, with an extended explanation by Miguel Sáez, consultant and expert trainer on IT Service Management.

PUE, recently recognized as an ITIL© official training center in its ATO Affiliate (Accredited Training Organization Affiliate) figure, offers complete training paths which prepare the students to pass all the certification levels: from ITIL© Foundation to ITIL© Expert.
